DEBROY SOMERS BAND
A bit frustrating a failure to catch the picture as it is so faint.A little at the begining, and the same at the end of song. The song is a sort of novelty although not stated.
I have re -edited as a kind listener has given all the facts of the record on the comments page.I will have to find another way to upload the Debroy Somers footage from Radio Rhythms, in the future.
@jackpaynefan Thought it was unusual to hear John Thorne with
Debroy Somers, prob wrong about Pete Mandell as well.Sometimes when a record is on the net you can pick the sound out better. Now the youtubers know why i use PROB and GUESS,i am hopeless. Thanks for the info as always.

Well done on your 100th upload! Quite lively, the dance band book advises the vocalist as being Fred Austin, the composer.
I recall last year, when I uploaded a Teddy Brown record, advised it was John Thorne which some doubted (including yourself).
This vocalist does not roll his R's like Mr. Thorne. The vocalist is also on the other side.
It was recorded 2nd September 1927.
