  • If you look at the register reward it CLEARLY says manufacture coupon, you should read it.......also if you ask any store associate they would explain one coupon per item, the system won't allow 2coupons on one item......and at the end of the day, it's not that serious.

  • @mmwbouck7 Don't come to my channel with an attitude. I saw that it "clearly" said manufacturer's coupon. If you listened to the video, Walgreens doesn't treat the register rewards like coupons. If they did, it would have been adjusted down to meet the price of the item, like their coupon policy "clearly" states--if you haven't read it. At the end of the day, it's not that serious for you to leave a comment when you "clearly" don't understand what's going on.

  • @mmwbouck7 Like the video said, it's just a way to get customers to spend more money. Walgreens doesn't even do overage applying to a basket purchase, which is another reason why register rewards don't make sense when used on an item that's lesser in value than the register reward. If you have something constructive to say on my channel, that's fine. But I don't tolerate attitudes from misinformed people. **Blocking You**

  • This is so TRUE! Thx for this video and plz look @ the couponlikeaman video titled Walgreen's thinks you're stupid-2/26/12!

  • hope that helps and sorry for it being posted backwards...

Also as an fyi.. (and i know this has happened in a few markets already) i believe walgreens will be phasing out register rewards possibly and moving to a cards like the other stores

  • .... giving credit for the items purchased to get the register reward not the item being redeemed with the coupon. So when you use it on a transaction its not being applied to a specific item but the transaction as a whole. The whole reason for the 1 coupon/item rule is really just for how the register system is set up to work which when applying items to the tallying just isnt designed to handel more than one manufacturer coupon per item.

  • ... there are two different types of register rewards coupons (though they look almost identical). One is issued as a "stockup" or walgreens brand coupon. these are coupons that walgreens is paying for. The others are coupons payed for by the manufacturer of the item it is issued for (hence why called manufacturer coupons). This is where it gets kind of confusing so excuse me if i dont make total sense. The manufacturer gives walgreens the credit for that coupon when used but is hypothetically..

  • As a walgreens employee i just wanted to comment saying two things:

First that you were lucky that a manager wrote you a raincheck for an IVC. It is up to the managers discression at the store to write rain checks for items but overall it is the policy of most stores to not write rain checks for IVC items due to their month long status and it being a coupon. Though again each manager has the right to decide for each circumstance.

    Secondly....
