a guy i used to work with does this and he told me get 1,000 a day for doing stuff like this but its not all year long.

Top wires a "sky wire" its basically just there for lightning strikes, some of them have fiber optic cable inside of them.. no neutrals on towers just your 3 phases

insulator testing ? you sure thats what they were doing? then again im just a cusw lineman so i really dont know what you guys would be doing

wasn't us guys it was ontario hydro. THEY would scale the tower to all points where the wires are attached, run a pole with a loop on it top to bottom of the "INSULATOR?". I would respect your comments cusw lineman
