@THEFLYINGREDNECK Nope. Listen to bands like Emperor. Amazing medieval-inspired compositions. There's an incredible amount of talent and skill in black metal, you just haven't been looking hard enough.

@saurya for starters, iron maiden is better than ANY black or death band. also, heavy does NOT mean better. also, black and death are EQUALLY heavy. its pretty much a tie. but in pure SKILL and TALENT...death wins

@DBKAFuckingimporT Yeah Black Metal has no violence even though Per Ohlin committed suicide, Euroynmous took pictures of it and ate parts of Ohlin's brains. Did I mention Euroynmous made a necklace out skull fragments? Oh and then there's Varg Virkenes to killed Euronymous and burnt a shit load off church's down. I like Death Metal, but it isn't better than Black Metal. Stupid fucking cunt.

dissection, necrophagist, bathory, obscura, watain, bloodbath... i love them both, but in both there is some stuff that i dislike. for exemple black metal bands who just tremolo pick all the way trough over a blastbeat and record that with a potato to sound "true" or death metal bands who play technical as fuck for the sake of being technical and completely forget that they should play music in first instance. and possibly record that with a potato too...
