  • her english isn't that bad for a native korean. props to BoA!

  • If you compare her English in this interview to the CNN one from March 2008, the improvement is amazing. She was always good at English, but accent has improved a lot.

  • wow 20 million albums, shes a true global teen icon

  • I don't understand why people bitch and moan about her English. I mean obviously you can understand what she's saying clearly, so what's the problem? And she's more talented than your average trashy American pop singers anyways.

  • lol she's so cute but some way she reminds me of my piano teacher lol well they are the same age :P

  • Don't get me wrong, I LOVE her music and I have the upmost respect for her, but SM seems to be mistreating her, if only in certain aspects.

  • I really wish SM wasn't trying to make her anorexic. A couple weeks ago, she said on her Twitter that her manager is making her diet, even though she does NOT need to. Everyone knows that BoA doesn't mind eating, especially since she's working so much she just burns off the calories. Do what's best for her, SM and Avex, and that means letting her eat what she wants!

  • BoA makes me so proud to be an asian :) <3

  • @mahoneko321 I agree! Her accent is really really good. It's a huge progress. I think she couldn't talk fluently in the interview because she's focus on the accent and the grammar. In the liveshow in LA she spoke English really well and very fluently.

  • @pinkflower7783 No prob :)

  • @xTheLittleStrawberry Oh okay it just sounded like you were critizing her more then praising her. Gomen!

  • @pinkflower7783 I'm in Japanese III... so I know how it feels. I've also lived in a house with people who only spoke Spanish, and no English... so I've picked up on that as well.. I know how it feels. I'm not bashing her English. I'm commending her for her progress.
