But,
Obama said that our troops will start coming home in early 2011.
Must be true.
He said so.
One might say, even at this early date,
"Mission Accomplished".

you know thats probably not accurate though, USA has an extremely large GDP and they are always looking for ways to make it bigger, and im sure controlling oil in the middle east will result in that.

The jobs created will be military personnel as we'll have to replace the soldiers that'll be killed in the near future.

zekfishathotmail ! There is no oil in Vietnam. Why did Kissinger, Nixon, McNamara & co. commit genocide of 2.9 million Vietnamese, and then withdraw becz American death toll was already too high (50,000). Hence US shd. cut down on military spending & Invest manifold in renewable fuel technologies research and development, if necessary with funds & cooperation contributed by willing nations. That will incidentally remove the oil supply control isses causing war.

Islamist terrorism is the immediate provocation for the Afghan war and the newattack strategy. But the fundamental cause is global Christian expansion of the missionary armies. US must ban their export most urgently, as the first crucial step in any security strategy against Islamist terrorists. Religious expansion through crusades of missionaries, overt, or covert wearing NGO masks.can NEVER be a human right. This not done, Islam will not stop fighting it, with terrorism. Pres Obama, pls. note.

People are dumb....you cannot win any modern war with "humanitarian" rules. You allow the U.S military to go in and literally kick peoples shit in they'll end it.....if not you'll just have this half ass babysitting.

OIL, supply of oil to the next generation of developing nations. Control the oil and you control everything, as the fuel is what drives the economy, military, transportation of goods etc. Get it! Control the fuel! Who has the largest set up and usable fuel? The Middle East. Forget what the media is saying, as they are payed for with the occasional truth to throw us off. The US wants to control the entire Middle East oil supply and be the leader in fuel supply.

Please understand that this war has nothing to do with freedom, democracy or assisting the Middle East. It's all about the supply of oil for the next generation of developing nations. If the fuel is controlled the country is controlled, A strong economy, military, or any mode of transportation requires fuel. The size or population of a country means little without the fuel to power it. No fuel, no transportation, no goods, no industry no control, makes you depend on others for survival.

Brown is still talking about al Qaeda rather than the Taliban.. That's some downright failure right there.

Umm, if we didnt have the resources or strategy before, what makes him think he will make a difference. How stupid can our president be that history has shown what has happened in Afghanistan. The russians spent years in there and failed, many other countries have to. You cannot invade and rebuild a TRIBAL country wrought with corruption. America needs to get out of the nation building business, it is a debt increasing business. we could spend less money making our country safe at home.
