do not have the youtube LABS??

All you have to do now is go to the list of Youtube videos, then click and drag the image of the video you want into the email body or signature.

this is crap, because it is not a real embedding. it is just a gmail's perk and doesn't work if your receivers don't use gmail

That feature is not available! I have scrolled up and down and cannot find where YouTube previews can be enabled.

Hi, I sent it to myself and only received the link not the video. Any help much appreciated!

Dude, Google owns Youtube and does a great job of keeping a username across the board. Sounds like you either have huge rage issues or just got your first computer. Just Sayin!

@PATTONM14A1 damn straight
Note: The YouTube previews is no longer in Labs because it is now included with Gmail. Everyone can now post the link in the body and it works. No configuring settings for this.

All you have to do is include a YouTube URL into the email, as depicted by the above video. Gmail recipients will see the preview and be able to play it as depicted above. Non-Gmail users won't see the preview, but they'll have the link. The ONLY thing that has changed is that seeing these previews is ALWAYS enabled; you don't have to go into labs anymore to enable it (and so it's gone from labs).
