Tai chi have many forms and styls. Some may not look incredible but deadly as well. Real martial art is not look as good as one can see in TV. Good techniques come with a bad form and people hardly like it when they see it. I been practice for more than 20 years now and I use to be very flexible and can do many things like youner people do but these days...I am totally different person with deadly touch but people may think I am not a good one. The older they are the better they they become

@waldronZ wow you must be a tai chi master. you know everything about it eh? some of those old Chinese know more than you ever will and you judge them?

@chentaichiacademy your comment is lame. are you really a certified tai chi master and expert on many styles? no right? are you Chinese? who are you to judge the Chinese, many of whom have been practicing this since the age of five or so. i admit his form doesn't look perfect, but he probably has 40 years or more of tai chi practice. try doing push hands with him. bet he throws you around. the Chinese pratice for their health, not to look good for self righteous tourists like you.

You are totally right. His execution is really bad on various aspects. There is no connection with the center, the most of the time he doesn't move his hips correctly, the Chi doesn't flow up and down - as a consequence, he loses momentum. The movements are too "external", ... (the list could be much longer than this)

Remember I was here.Thai
Yang 24 or the Chinese government model Tai Chi, everyone does it in China and its very rare to see someone do it right. This "master" is no master too many very basic mistakes, a long list indeed

It's okay for advanced students to have the knee over the toe, but not beginners. Maybe he does go a little too far, but for him I think it's okay.
