  • hey hey hey!! love it! I loke to paint a black spider and give it a lovely 'glitter' butt, with a single finger load of red sparkle!! looks awsome! Do you have red backs over there? I think they are australian.... hmmmm

  • I am with you on the sparkle butt! I feel so sneaky when I don't ask the boys if they want sparkles and I just dab it on when they aren't looking! I think it is a black widow over here...that has the red back.

  • I'd say a size 6, must 3- 6 work well.

  • Some pigments rather. I think with oil paint it may have been one cadmium color they cannot make anymore.

So I think it may be the same with makeup pigments.

I know "black" does not exist naturally, ie no one has ACTUAL BLACK hair, just very very dark brown, thus with cosmetics, there is no true black because it would be toxic...it has to be a combination of other colors.

I wonder if that black is a red based black and that's why red can't show up on it...maybe a bluer black might be different.

  • Also I remember learning with oil paints that some colors are poisonous so they can't make them.

Also I learned from one makeup artist/teacher when he was looking for the reddest red lipstick he could find. I BELIEVE it was Shu Uemura, and I believe it's not approved by the FDA, or whoever controls that, Russian Red...but he has no problem using it because no one where it is legal has ever had a problem and you'd have to ingest TONS of it...so maybe the red that would cover can't be used.

  • Hi there,

I saw some videos of you were you were having problems with your sponges that were to wet. Maybe it's a tip to use a spraybottle, spray the water on the paint, pull your sponge over it and place the paint on the part you want to paint...you'll knever have a problem anymore with sponges who are to wet :)

    Love to watch your videos

  • WOW what a terrific spider.....

  • What a great video! Very informative and sincere. Just what we need.

    - the spider playing basketball just adds the sparkle & laughter that seems to be in all your videos. Keep up the good work!

  • I'm going to try out ur spider right now! Wot size brush did you use for the legs?
