When the camp went away. My grandfather had a house made out of the brracks buildings. We had a storage building that was half of one of the barracks. The house was tore down when 136 was widened from Macomb to Colchester. The storage shed was still there, the last I knw. It was 3 miles west of Macomb on US136, right hand side, heading west.
@otstw1 I knew many of the Hollenbacks. I was in the same class as Roy Lee, a little older than Wanda. Also knew some of the younger generation. Becky Smith Hollenback for one. We've been gone from there for 26 years so a lot has changed. What was Greg's parents names?

Very interesting. I lived about a mile from the edge of the camp. My parents both worked there and my grandfather lost his farm to the building of the camp.
