Curtis Salgado becomes big band blues shouter, singing the great song "Cool Train"
first made famous by Sam Cooke.
The arrangement lift is by Dave Mills, from Gerald Wilson's previous sketch for Cooke.

this was the 10th anniversary of the waterfont blues festival.
The event began in 1987, thus 1997 not 2002, but I am assuming you
did some thing very special and made the audio better. We were using
3/4 inch tapes to record or SVHS. thanks for your work in preserving this
event and performance ! I just wanted to make sure you know I wasnt
producing videos after 1998. My production at that event went from 1991 to 1998.
