UPDATE: Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome will FINALLY be released THIS FRIDAY on Machinima Prime in ten, 7-12-minute episodes The first episode will be released on Friday, Nov. 9, with the remaining episodes rolled out over the next four weeks. In early 2013, the two-hour version of B&C will air on Syfy, followed by the release of an unrated version on home video. Thank you to EVERYONE who watched this video and made it the top-watched version on YouTube. Thank you to SyFy and related studios for allowing this video to remain online as a fan video. Although YouTube offered me an opportunity to "monetize" this upload, I refused to do so and I have not profited in any way from the footage or audio of this presentation.

Reputedly pulled due to music licensing issues (the "officially" leaked version featured music from Nine inch Nails, and plays during Girl with the Dragon Tattoo's opening sequence), this uses the footage shown to a crowd as part of the SyFy's upcoming Blood and Chrome movie. The soundtrack was replaced with music from Bear McReary and is from the Moore/Eick BSG series; aficionados should be able to name the scene I borrowed the music from. ;-)

As for the legal jargon, no this material isn't mine nor do I claim anything beyond combining the music with the footage. No other editing has taken place, and since this was done without much attention to timing or professionalism, it's obviously the not-for-profit work of an amateur who also appreciates the BSG mythos and would love to see SyFy finally decide WHAT (if anything) they are going to do with the already-filmed "pilot" that this footage was clearly intended to promote.

I think this is what Caprica COULD'VE been if it had been allowed to flesh out, continue & develop & not been shoved aside during the " great re - branding " from Sci - Fi to Syfy.

It really sucks that syfy is not going to turn this into a tv series. After seeing all of the

episodes I feel that the blood and chrome has true potential being an epic series.
