I had never played this tune on the pipes, until I had a request to play it for a memorial service a few weeks ago. I had to do some octave jumping on the melody to play the right notes. LOVE THE PIPES!

  • wouldn't happen to have the bww or bmw for this tune do ya?

  • @GypsyRider Sorry ,but I don't. I just taught myself to play the tune. With the nine notes in the bagpipe scale it's pretty easy.............

  • @stevethrasher actually it's cool, I found the written commands for the bagpipe player file and it's safely in my archives lol thank you very much though

  • How talented you are....sounds beautiful, thanks for sharing...

  • I wish the instrument had the range for the tune. Other than that, you played well.

  • That's about as good as that tune is gonna get on the pipes. Some tunes just don't fit between low-A and high-A. It's amazing how many tunes can fit in an octave and a note, but that's not one of them. Valiant attempt, though.

  • Thumbs Up for bagpipes

  • Wow! Just flawless! Very clean crisp gracenotes. My goal is to play that well someday. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • how long have you been playing for and how did you learn to play?

  • Wow, excellent tone from the drones....but that's a Gibson for ya. Nice job!
