  • @staciajustine I hate when people think cheer is about being sexy or whatever. We put forth a lot of our time and strength to hit every movement to win.

  • i love this. its about time sideline cheer does real dances instead of just motions.

  • Those who keep commenting about how 'easy' cheer is. It isn't. It takes time , effort & dedication.

Every move counts. You make one wrong move & it's an automatic deduction.

We do dangerous stunts. Like the basket toss. The flyers too. So yeah. Cheer is so 'easy' ha. NOT.

  • @SmileSingCheer

finally someone who knows what they are talking about.

if your a true dedicated cheerleader you know every tiny movement counts & every transition must be flawless & in sync with the rest of the team or the judges will tear you apart & you can say goodbye championship.

but growing up cheering my whole life i have seen how the sport has change a lot &now days cheer teams really dont cheer much. A good competitive team that knows what they are doing&goes to win would never do a cheer in the middle of their routine but high school teams usually have cheers built into their routine. If these girls were trying out for a high school team they probably had to cheer & dance but this video just happens to show only the dance portion of the try out.

  • @xowhoababyox

you probably cheer for a high school. i've been a competitive cheerleader for 8years & we never ever ever do actual cheers. our competition routines only consist of a dance, tumbling pass, stunts, & jumps.

personally i cant stand yelling cheers or cheering at a sporting event. Competitive cheerleading is A LOT harder then any type of school cheerleading. Although some schools do compete & are good at it, others not so much.

  • @bieberlover1198 Okay, your opinion, but seriously. Please don't be a mean commenter.

  • I've been homeschooled all my life and I'm in highschool and going to public school next year and I wanted to tryout for a cheer or dance squad cause I always wanted to but then I saw this and I got sad cause I'm not sure if I could do this.. :(

  • @xowhoababyox I agree. when i made our squad do a dance for tryouts it had 3, 8-counts and then repeat...not some choreographed dance routine. just something simple...like cheering.

  • @kibapup123 Sorry I Didn't Like The Video .? It Sucked.

  • I think what most people are trying to say is we know Cheer invovles dance, but alot of Cheer is more being tight with your movements. Not shaking your hips.
