  • Greatest ever in his prime.......

  • I have to say, just thinking about Pedro's return to Fenway, all the love that was showered upon him, how nuts everyone went (even though his pitching stunk, can you blame him), and everyone loved it...it totally fills me with joy and can make me smile no matter what else happens to be going on. I wasn't at the game but even just seeing it on tv, what a great moment in baseball history.

I also *love* the crowd noises captured in this video!

  • I love how when Pedro comes back to Fenway, he gets a standing ovation. When Damon came back, he gets majorly booed and heckled. We understand players leaving, but leaving to the Yankees is like stabbing us in the gut.

  • pedro is the greatest!

  • Pedro!! you're the best!! 7 seasons and all were great! What a treat it was to walk over to Fenway and watch him pitch. Best pitcher ever to don a Sox uniform. Forget Clemens, Pedro's 7 years, especially his first 4-5, were unreal.

  • hey pedro te queremos gracia por tan bueno momentos

  • I still miss the guy

  • fuck the red six

  • C'mon man, "bag of shit"? Of course he's not nearly the pitcher he once was, but no need for insults here. I'm grateful for being able to watch one of the greatest 7 year runs any pitcher has ever had and I'll never have anything bad to say about the guy.

  • Hey I respect the pitcher for what he did for us in Boston, but I'm so glad he doesn't pitch for us anymore. When he signed with NYM, I said to everybody, "He's washed up. When he throws one home in the next year or so, and his arm is still attached to the ball when it gets there, better them than us to get left holding the $54M dollar bag of shit."
