You have 99 problems? WOW! Do you know how many problems I have? I have 3 problems, Only 3. How is that possible? You may ask. Simple when I get a new problem I ask God for guidance & strength to solve the problem myself. I then tackle the problem knowing that God is guiding my actions to the best solution to the problem & the problem is gone. No fuss, no stress, & no more problem. People with faith are happier because we have someone to ease our burden, atheists have no one.

@50Calabyte ST 5 was all about Love & understanding. The original story (by Bill) called "An act of Love", had the crew meeting God & getting caught up in the never ending war between good & evil. It was rewritten to have a "fails god" because the writers felt that if the crew ever met God it would mean the end of their adventures. Which would mean TNG would be pointless. After all it's the search for God that is the point of exploration.

@50Calabyte God is not a problem. He is the solution. It is you who you should feel sorry for. Also the majority of episodes was not about fails gods. Star Trek V was about a creature mistaken for God by Sybock. The creature just went along with it to get off the planet. Even Kirk said "He's right here, the human heart." Don't you pay attention? You miss the points of thoes episodes and movies.

@Trekfreek Again I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems but a god ain't one. I also love the fact that you bring up god related episodes and yet the majority of those episodes are about FALSE gods. Hell, Star Trek 5 was all about a false god. And then Kirk kicks faux-gods ass. Because Kirk=Awesome. Be it in the TOS or the new movies.

@50Calabyte There you go again assuming I was talking about only me. and cursing to beat the band. You know Star Trek is not just for you religious hate mongers. There are Jewish Trekkers, Catholic Trekkers, Lutheran Trekkers, Mormon Trekkers & many more hard core religious people who are Trekkers. Also for every atheist episode made Trek countered with an episode featuring a fictional or real religion. Good bye & May emptiness have mercy on your nothing. Does that sound right? No?
