Great bird, lucky you didn't lose finger there! Lovebirds are great; like tiny dogs (that can fly, and have ADHD).

@xxBecaB00xxx Nutri berries are always hard, you shouldn't feed you birds too many of them since they're rich in fat due to all of the nuts. Try only giving them none to one a day.

I ordered my nutri berries from an online parrot supply store and they are hard as a rock :/ I just started feeding them nutri berries a few months ago so I didn't really know what they SHOULD feel like. Now I'm worried cause they have almost went through a whole container of HARD nutri berries. What does it mean when they are hard? are they old? should I order a new FRESH container?
thanks for all of your help. Your videos have helped me sooo much!

My parrot insists on standing at the edge of his open door (it tilts down) like it's his porch, when he eats nutriberries, and those things shoot off bits every time he bites down. It's pretty much got the debris range of a grenade.

We sell it, and it is super fresh. Fresher than you would get at the petstore as our warehouse gets shipments in weekly compared to that stuff sitting in the back of a petstore. The ones from the petstores are hard as rock!

oh I am trying to get Nutriberries for my little ones but I live in Australia and no one sells them...do you know anywhere online that ships to Australia??

See, I was on an Australian forum that said that we could not ship bird food internationally because they would have to fumigate the food and may not let it in the border. There might be a distributer of some sort within Australia, but I am not sure. We are on the Aussie Birds (Proboard) Forum.

I moved from Canada to the States and I had to bring my bird. We just drove though. Its really easy the border guard just asked us to give him a note of the signiture of the pet store owner. Then they looked at him in his little cage to see if it was healthy. WAy better then I thought.

I am so glad you were able to bring your bird with you! We wouldn't have been able to part with our birds either!
