  • I remember playing this song on my college radio show back at the Naval Academy in 1987 - thought I'd never hear it again! I always like this version...YouTube delivers again!

  • Yes, the more you listen to this version, the more you realize it is better than The Hollies' original. This one has more variety.

  • been looking for this for about ten years or so ~ this is awesome

  • love it...i THINK IT OUT PLAYS THE HOLLIES

    SORRY GRAHAM!

  • I've known the Hollies since the 60's but first heard the cover version of Carousel. Searching for this song I come up with the Hollies original version but still preferred this cover.

  • This song was not posted until now. I've been searching Youtube for it since 2005. First heard it in 1982

  • I surely respect the Hollies, but I honestly think they were outdone here. Must have heard this song a million times in 1982 spring/summer. Best of is available on i-tunes.

  • Thanx for the post! Loved this song in the day and then forgot it until today-driving home it popped in my head and I could not rember who sang it. It took a little digging on the net-so cool you posted it!!!

  • @kittygrrlhk It's originally a Hollies song. But, I agree, the Finns really hit this sound with great success.

  • College. 1980s. Chapel Hill. He's Not Here.

  • This song has a Split Enz/Crowded House feel to it.

  • it's available on Amazon.com the first 2 albums on 1 cd
