Ape X and The Neanderthal Death Squad - At The Mountains of Madness (drum session footage)

Hey guys, here's another drum session footage of Ape X's debut album, Rise of the Apes. I'm writing most drum parts as I record, that's why you'll see some cuts between sections. I prefer to improvise and try different arrangements, the best ones make into the album :) Sorry for the poor video quality, the sun went down during the session and the GoPro Hero sucks in poor light conditions. Hope you enjoy it!

@GoodKarma77 Obrigado pelas palavras e interesse no meu trabalho! A bateria eletrônica está apenas enviando o sinal MIDI, os timbres são uma mistura do Superior com o Steven Slate Drums. Não mexi muito, apenas uma mix bem básica, para o teaser :)

The quality of electric drums is only going to get better and better. The quality of amp modeling is going to get a lot better too. I one checks out one of RobChappers' Line6 rig comparisons it is hard to tell the difference between modeling and not. It's like the difference between two people on the same rig: just different.

It is a weird feeling but only boils down to convenience if we keep an open mind about using such things (electric drums and things like axeFX).
