The Fritz Von Erich "collapse" angle airs on KTVT 12/26/87

This clip includes both of Marc Lowrance's "live" inserts on Championship Sports the night after the still-controversial angle in which Fritz Von Erich "collapsed" at Christmas Star Wars 1987. Although it was never intended to look like a heart attack (despite what is commonly assumed to this day), WCCW was not entirely undeserving of criticism here, as the clip demonstrates. Footage of the actual angle, now available commercially on WWE's Triumph and Tragedy of World Class Championship Wrestling DVD, has been removed; our apologies for the deteriorated quality of this 20-year-old VHS tape.
