  • Lincoln Chafee is a republican I'd be proud to vote for. A voice of reason amidst a party of morons.

  • Yes Senator Chafee! Telling it like it is!

  • @FilipeBrasAlmeida No you wouldn't, he is now an Independant(Democrat) Governor in sheeps clothing. He has sided with all the unions and is trying to pass massive tax increase as Rhode Island Governor. He is a liar!

  • Lincoln Chaffe for Green Party Governor

    Chafee 2010!!!!!

  • Very interesting. Nice to hear a sane politician for a change - Is he still in office?

  • Chafee has become my personal republican hero! He is the only person I could think of voting for if I were American.

  • Oh I'm not even American. It's just a comment.

  • How are you voting a Republican being from Portugal?

  • A good portion of these moderates/independents, and some of the core GOP group are now breaking away. The GOP has shifted too much to the right, and as will be seen in the coming election will be knocked out of the executive and legislative branches. It seems that the democrats have taken in a lot of these moderates, and will govern center-left. A lot of the tactics/attacks used in the GOP campaign, appeal to the right wing base, but NOT to the center. the GOP will realize that too late.

  • honestly I find it hilarious that the GOP continues on imploding, and that the extreme right wing part of the GOP continues to attack anyone who see that the GOP is heading into oblivion, and see the way the McCain/Palin campaign as a symptom of that. The thing is, America is a center-right country. Notice the center part of that statement? What allowed the GOP to come into and stay in power is that it had room for the moderates, the independents.

  • I love you, Lincoln, keep up the great work!

  • coulda shoulda woulda...obama words..
