Nevermind that other cities and geo locations are needed to mine and manufacture materials for the perfect spotless cities. @kayden2245 It wouldn't "cost" anything. When you declare the resources of the planet the common heritage of all the worlds people, you eliminate the need for money entirely. Using advanced technology (which would be available today if not for insufficient scientific funding and pressure on the government by oil companies) we could harness the power of the sun, the wind, the ocean, the rivers, the atom (fusion), and the earth (geothermal) to make anything needed available to anyone, at any time.

@kayden2245 Instead of asking if we have the money to do it, let's ask ourselves if we have the resources and the capability. The answer is yes! The circulation of money is based on real or assumed sacristy. Thus, money exists as a barrier to the goods and the necessities of life that we need. One of the main goals of the Venus Project is to move from a monetary economic system to a global resource based economic model.
