Mixing mic and computer audio - Linux

I was inspired to make this video after scrubbing the internet and eventually stumbling upon this page: http://blog.flipzu.com/2011/02/how-to-mix-voice-and-audio-on-ubuntu.html

In that blog entry, a pretty clean solution is presented for Linux systems using PulseAudio (which Ubuntu is one). I go over the steps necessary to record both the mic and the computer's audio with a prevalent Linux screen recorder program such as gtk-recordmydesktop using Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid).

If necessary, I will upload the original video to Dropbox and share it out if YouTube's compression and transcoding does bad things to my video.
