Here's a personal story:I was 8. I was just first starting to seriously get into music. I used to share my music library with my dad. At one point, I accidentaly put this song onto my iPod. I listened to it a lot, and fell in love with it.

Years later, I totally forgot about it. And then a couple of weeks ago, my friend told me to get the new album by The Shins because he said it was really good. I thought I heard that name. And I rembered this song. And listening to it again, I realize

girls these days seem to fall in love with guys that give no effort, ignore, disrespect, and really are just in it for the sexual aspect. genuine guys who care and try are so fucking rare these days girls have no idea how to react, so they find it creepy. caring truly has become creepy in our backwards generation. so sad but this song is awesome and really gets my point of view!
