Eric Hyrst was a Balanchine dancer who became the top dancer in Montreal at the Grands Ballets Canadiens. (DVD documentary available at the Documentary Channel website - called "Two for Ballet") He worked with Massine and many others. He choreographed over 150 original ballets in his lifetime. His career spanning the Royal Ballet, Ballet Alicia Alonso, NYCBallet, and the GBC is described here, and part of a recent ballet with composer Webster Young is shown (music recording available at CDbaby.com under "Webster Young") More ballets by Hyrst will follow on separate videos here (copyright)
