Last Season on Peace, Love, & Jonas:
Maria's ex, Sam, suddenly came back into her life and little did she know he was about to ruin her life. He trapped her with his strength in the bathroom and tried to rape her, but didn't succeed because Kevin walked in to Sam on top of Maria. He got the wrong idea and broke up with her and kicked her off the tour and Maria went home with a broken heart. On a happier note, Katie was staying with Miley while she had a week of auditions for a Disney show to go too.
-In L.A.-
Katie had her last day of auditions and they said that they would be letting the person who got the role within the next month. Since shooting wouldn't start until the end of September or around there.
-Back at the Cyrus house-
Katie dials Joe's phone number.
Joe: Hello?
Katie: Hey cutie.
Joe: Hey! Whats up?
Katie: Nothing. I just finished the last of the auditions.
Joe: Oh! When do you find out?
Katie: Within a month, but I really have a feeling that I got this Joe!
Joe: I bet you did get it.
Katie: I'm just so happy that everything is finally working out.
Joe: Me too!
Katie: So what did I miss on tour?
Joe: (he was going to tell her about Kevin and Maria, but he knew that would just get her upset and he knew that she was really happy right now.) Uhm nothing out of the ordinary! Just missing you and waiting for you to come back!!
Katie: Yeah I cant wait to get back.
Joe: When do you fly in tomorrow?
Katie: Not until later. Ill probably get there around 6.
Joe: Oh cool. Ill send the girls. I mean I'll just send a car for you.
Katie: Okay. Sounds good. Well I'm gonna go. Tish wants to take me out to dinner to celebrate my last night with them.
Joe: Okie dokie. Have fun! I love you and Ill see you tomorrow.
Katie: Love you to babe. Bye!
(they hang up)
(The next day in Chicago around 5 o'clock.)
Maria was at home in her room. She was so upset she didn't know what to do with herself. She continuously tried calling Kevin but he just ignored her calls. She hated doing this, but she figured it couldn't hurt anymore than the pain she was feeling now. She went to a local bar.
Maria: (walks in and sits down at a bar stool)
Bartender: How can I help you young lady?
Maria: Whatever hard stuff you got. And keep it coming!
(The man didn't ask for her ID because Maria looked like she was 24.)
After about a half an hour Maria was beyond drunk.
Maria: And the stupid jerk broke up with me!
Bartender: Wow! That's harsh.
Maria: I know!
Bartender: Why don't you go get him back?
Maria: Yeah! I should! (she downs the rest of her drinks)
Bartender: You go get your man back!
Maria: I'm gonna! (she stumbles out the door and hails a taxi. She gets in and it starts to drive her to the venue)
She gets out and stumbles to the backstage entrance and tries to walk in.
Bodyguard: Whoa. You're not going anywhere young lady.
Maria: (slurring her words) Buttttt..Im Mmmmmaria. Kkkkkevvvvinnsss ggggirrllffrrriieenddd.
Bodyguard: I'm on strict orders to not let you in.
Maria: (managed to talk normal without slurring her words) Are you kidding me?
Bodyguard: Nope.
Reality set back in and Maria realized what was happening and collapsed to the ground and started crying. People kept walking past, looking at her, and whispering things to each other. But she didn't care because her whole life was falling apart and she didn't know what to do to fix it. She had no one. Michelle was inside and had no idea she was out here, Katie wasn't back yet, and the one person who always knew how to make her stop crying was the one who caused the tears.
Katie had landed at O'Hare and gotten in the waiting SUV and was on her way to the venue. The SUV pulled up.
Katie: Thanks so much.
Driver: Do you need help with your luggage?
Katie: Nope! I only have two bags.
Driver: Okay.
Katie: (gets out, grabs her luggage, and starts walking to the backstage entrance) Maria?
Maria: (looks up and sees Katie) Hhhhheyyy! Yyyyyouuureee backkkk! (tries to stand up but falls back down)
Katie: (runs over and crouches down to Maria's level) What is going on? Why are you out here crying? (smells her breath) Have you been drinking?
Maria: (sniffles and slurs) Thhhhheyyyyy wwwwonnnnt lettttt meeee innnn!
Katie: Why wouldn't they let you in? And why didn't you go in when the boys did? And where did you get drunk if you were with the boys?
Maria: (shakes her head, crying)
Katie: (stands back up) C'mon sweetie. Lets go in. (helps her up)
Bodyguard: (stops them) Nope!
Katie: What? I have a pass though.
Bodyguard: You can go in, but she cant. (points to Maria)
