  • I loved this movie back then. This was pretty much the boy's ultimate fantasy: save the galaxy, win the girl.

  • Long live the 80's. This film brings back memories from my childhood.

  • It's a shame The Last StarFighter video game was just a pro.It would've looked DAMN COOL in an 8-'s arcade back then from the look of it's design! That & I was really disappointed I couldn't get my own hand at becoming a StarFighter back then!

  • An awesome movie with very awe-inspiring music.

  • god i miss the 80s tv and music today is shit . reality tv and bad rap songs its no wounder kids today are brain dead its all the shit they watch and listen to today .

  • @devospud True dude, and you can never remake a classic like this

  • The 80's knew how to make things feel huge. Take any movie and add a score like this and you make it ten times more impressive. This is one of the themes you'll never forget, even 30 years later.

  • Haven't seen this but just from the theme I know it's good.

  • @TheCastellan: This one wouldn't-Alex would play the game on a X-Box or a PS3 (it was downloaded through the networks of either system), he beats the game, a signal is sent to Centauri, and what happened in the original movie still happens. And with today's CGI, it would look great.

  • this is one of the best musical scores ever!

  • When I saw this movie back 84 I thought I was the most awesome movie ever, considering what computing power was back then, they did a fantastic job with the CGI
