He's not exactly a genius. He used the air foil design from another company, the base has a standard fan blowing into the foil. Basically this should cost only 30$. Not claiming he's dumb, but buyer beware, this fan is a rip off...

Us American complain about money for a dyson vacuum or some thing else when other country pay more that we do and don't even complain about over price we most of us pay a lot of money for stupid stuff instead of innovative and cleaner life style

What you may not know -

1) This fan is very noisy , sounds like a RC helicopter buzzing you.

2) The fan loses its power after a few months.

3) You ll be left with a useless noise making device

You guys need to realize, this is not a fan, it's more like a cost efficient greener air conditioner. air conditioning can cost a lot of money per month on your bills and this way you are cooling yourself with using the wattage of a house fan versus the wattage you draw for air conditioning that powers your whole house when some people might just be in a room or small office or something something

I'm afraid Dyson products are like Bose - overpriced and full of scientific innovation that does not improve the performance at all. Their cyclone vacuum cleaners are far less powerful than comparably priced alternatives - try picking up parrot fluff and seeds with one - they just don't work.
