@TheRushingWind just because you're encouraged to grow food and ration clothing doesn't mean you're doing brilliant. The U.S. to supply the British with military items, i'm not talking about food and clothes. And amazing tactics from the air aren't going to win the whole war. On the ground, it was a fair fight between the British and Germans

@z7patrickz7 bullshit. The British were doing brilliant, the RAF had amazing tactics, and the country was encouraged to grow food, and clothing and food was rationed to avoid as much waste. Granted America helped, but we could have won without you - it just would have taken longer.

@MajorLiteral and you should remember that 3000 people dying is not a small thing. Anyone who suffers a loss like that, whether its during wwii in europe or not can cry all they want. We all suffer loss eventually, I just hope you don't have to experience it the way these people did you jerk.

@TheRushingWind before americans entered the war,Britain was basically the only allied strength fighting. russia had millions of soldiers but they were not well equipped. The British were running out of supplies and also losing in North Africa to the Afrka Korps. Thankfully Roosevelt found a way around the Neutrality Acts and "lended" much needed supplies Britain. Without the U.S. Britain would have lost.
