    This is the "new recorded club version" that appears on the CD. The original album version (that also appeared on the 12") has a different sounding voice for the sex phone voice -- more androgynous, so the man calling could be talking to another man OR a woman. This "new" version is obviously more "mass friendly" for commercial reasons.
