Ace Director Vijay 'Goldie' Anand's third film, after Dev's Delhi-Bombay trip-in-a-jalopy 'Nau Do Gyarah' and thought provoking saga of petty criminal Dev's reform through Waheeda's love in 'Kala Bazar', is an unrelenting humourous story of Architect Dev Anand fighting his father Om Prakash and that of Nutan, Harindranath Chattopadhyaya, both egoists and eccentrics of the first order, for her hand, with all the four artists excelling in their roles, with funny situations and dialogues full of mirth. S. D. Burman's music is a major highlight of the film with 'Dil Ka Bhanwar' and 'Tu Kahan yeh bata' simply outstanding !
