my brothers 99 has a plastic tank so im guessing theyre talking about the layers idk but his is a 99 f150 with the 5.4

ford has been doing this on theyre cars since the late 80s so what if they wanna do it 2 theyre trucks least you dont have 2 replace the fuel pump every 20k miles like a chevy truck

Isn't everything in a GM made of plastic? Crappest cars in the world. Eastern european sh*t has better build quality than GM. If you think GM are ahead of the game you gotta get out more.

well what about all of those millions of chevy/ gmc trucks from 1973 till about 1987 were they had the gas tank outside the frame rails ?...tell me that was good GM thinking
