To be precise, F/A Racing isn't really the car's name, but one of the teams in the RR universe (like R.T. Solvalou). You probably mean the Fiera.

I admit It's kinda difficult to argue about this topic...one could say in the original game(s) the cars didn't have any specific names yet at all. Pretty much everything in the first Ridge Racer like F/A Racing, Solvalou, Mappy, Bosconion, and so on, became either team or sponsor names as the series progressed while they started to give the manufacturers and cars an own individuality.

From today's perspective it's pretty save to assume the original "standard" RR car is a Fiera.
