Try to compare it with one of those old LP records: imagine you're playing a song and moving the record player which is like moving a running laptop when it's reading/writing on the hard drive. Just one little hit and you might have a crack in your LP record. If that's not sooo big you won't even notice it on a hard drive because the electronic takes care of it by trying to avoid that section.

  • @Flashanimator10 Well, since it has crashed it doesn't really matter anymore.

  • [: I seen the light. Like a DUI roadblock in the sky. But I pulled a U-ie and hauled ass through the woods! And now my life has purpose. Goodbye party liquor! Gunnery, you have a good'un! Masturbation... uh... let's just call it a hiatus. From now on, I am a bushhog on the front-end loader of the Lord

  • @vinny9er stfu...

  • @ehiellis ok what you need to do is try to recover the data off it first get a flash drive then download puppy linux from a working PC and burn the iso file to a cd or dvd. Have your pc boot off the cd and then mount the drive and try to get all the data off the hard drive and onto the flash drive. I have done this before when I had a hard drive fail on me in an old desktop. I can't guarantee this will work for you but it is worth trying and I am not responsible for any lost data. Just google it

  • can someone help me my hard drive for dell inspiron 1545 hav fail to boot for me i hav important data on my file how are going fix it can some help and tell me
