Doc McCoy has been granted parole. The catch is that corrupt Sheriff Beynon expects a small favor from McCoy for his generosity: Robbing another bank! Beynon does not really intend to let McCoy walk away after the heist and neither does co-robber Rudy Butler, but stopping Doc and his wife Carol proves a trifle difficult. Written by Walter Hill and directed by Sam Peckinpah.

  • I tend to agree w/ Richard below -- This movie has some of the worst edits, cues, character development, choreography & dialogue, w/ scores that come-off as random. Main characters have litlle more depth & authenticity than supporting characters. Plot is shallow, predictable & over-dependant on circumstance-driven opportunism as cheesy action-adventure 'crime' genre flics often are. It's barely viewable, vain & pretentious. There's NOTHING here to warrant a 2nd, closer look. Not a rewarding exp.

  • This is a very good, well-made, thought-provoking movie from an era when really good films were made in Hollywood. It is worth seeing it.

  • Steve Mcqueen the besT(Enjoyed iT)thank you so much//

  • @Nigelxman Son, this is my last post. "Tough guy"? I don't go around using words like a-hole hiding behind Netonymity. I would NEVER smack the bottom of a child. But there are some adults whose bottoms need to be smacked. You got the message; you just don't like the message. You're desperate, son. You're throwing everything hoping to hit a target: Go to college. If you already have, ask for a refund.
