My daughter on her horse april. April is a traditional cob and is 15h 3inc. She is very calm and has a really dosile, gentle temperamant. She is now 5 years old and never plays up. We have been their since her birth, so she is very relaxed around our family.

  • your daughter is too small for that horse, yes, the horwse looks like a sweetheart but horses a unpredictable and if its her first and evan if it isnt she should be on a 11 hh or 12 hh.

  • I'm sorry but your completely wrong. Some horses yes! But you have no idea what april is like. She is unbeleivable! She is so good she is now helping disabled children, riding her etc.

  • Will do more vids, When i get 5 mins. Learning the knowledge at the mo to become a london black cabbie. So usually studying etc. So as i get a chance more will be posted.

  • She has grown up around horses. This is not the only horse we have. Since day one she has helped with feeding, grooming, cleaning out etc.

  • The horse isnt to big for her if she is on a lead line! People need to stop looking at the size of the horse and focus on the temperment she has a lot more chance falling off a nutter of an 11 or 12hh pony than she does of falling off an extremely quiet natured 15.3hh horse!

  • you got your daughter breeches on her first lesson? wow..

  • @xreeowwxLillix

Most horses are so careful with little children. That's so sweet! So, you can't know it.

    They know the horse.

  • @xreeowwxLillix theres no such thing as to big a horse

  • @xreeowwxLillix oh leave her alone if she wants to ride a bigger horse let her its none of your business I'm sure she is in very capable hands also and with there being a few people there nothing would happen to her.

plus the bigger the horse the more docile :)

  • What a cute horse!! I think she is a good size for the little girl. Yes, horses are unpredictable, but she is obviously docile, and every horse, even a 11, or 12hh pony is still unpredictable. The little girl has to start SOMEWHERE!! and it is good to have a bigger horse to grow into.

  • @xreeowwxLillix any way i dont no these people but theres no need to be nasty if they think the horse is safe then let them do what they like its not anyone elses problem im 5"4 so dose that meen i cant ride a 16.2 ?

i jump one of the horses i ride 1.30 courses but noone can complane

my other ponys only 14.2 and he only jumps 95 but hes not safe hes 6 and hes still lurning but i trust him and at the end of the day if she falls of she has experianced people around her so :/ no prob there !

  • look uh no mean to be rud eor anything but your daughter is way too small for that horse i agree xreeowwxLillix she should definetly be on a 12 oe 11 hh horse concerning your daughters safety

  • @xreeowwxLillix I was riding horses while I was aroud 4 years old. My feet doesn't ever touch the horse, but I was riding them... ;) Size doesn't really matters. Her feet are touching the horse, so it's all right! :)

  • not the size of the horse is impotent. its the character.

  • Is the horse a shire? It's beautiful. I agree she is old enough to ride big horses. My step dad put me on a horse that was half broke because i wouldn't shut up about wanting to ride but she did fine. Our horse new not to buck or kick or rear because i didn't know how to ride.
