Great fight. Spinks and Qawi could both fight. They were skilled boxers with good power and better defenses than most people appreciated. Thanks for posting the vid.

i recall in KO boxing magazine that braxton did have a deviated septum before the fight but did not want to call it off, and that he could not breathe right. it was verified by a doctor . BUT THIS INFO WAS MADE PUBLIC AFTER THE FIGHT. he wanted mike again but could not get him. spinks did admit that he was nervous about this fight because he had sparred with dwight before and knew he was relentless.

Braxton looked ok in the 13th, and good in the 14th, but by then it was too late and he didn't have enough in the tank. Seems like he just wouldn't or couldn't do what his corner kept telling him to do from about the 4th round on. Spinks sure held a lot when they got on the inside though, and that didn't help Braxton either.
Decision was very correct though. Spinks by 3-4 rounds.
