I think the four seasons song was used in part to rationalize Yue's actions, i part because of the elements maintain a great balance an that human lfe is a small price to pay for balance

i agreed .......the swamp benders are most likely the same with those of southeast asians......it's verry obvious ...from the boat structure to the people......air nomads are the same with the tibetans ..

Aang's trying to run away to go face the fire lord by himself or something. He's pretty much stranded in the middle of the ocean, and Yue appears to him for about five seconds to tell him not to give up.
