Hmmm - the victors write the history...and apparently the signs too (English & French, no German)

@Long23 Its not like that at all, France granted Canada use of a 100 ha section of land at Vimy Ridge in 1922 for the purpose of a battlefield park and memorial. The official languages in Canada are English and French, hence why we see no German.

Vimy Ridge, its a recreation of the trenches, however its not to scale.
