  • I reckon that he's already better than Cameron Wood at the Magpies. He may or may not make it at AFL level but he has done a damn good job and tried his heart out in the VFL.

  • awesome work Shae..not a Pie fan but good luck mate. Modern day gladiators these AFL footballers. Us Aussie kids grew up with footballs in hand so its easy to be critical of awkward styles. I reckon he is coming along in leaps and bounds after watching him play. good luck and dont give up dude

  • Go Shae, hate the pies something awful, but this kid looks good and give him some credit, I think he has what it takes. We might have tapped another international source outside of Ireland...

  • CARNA ABBOTS! FUCK EM UP!

  • PREMIERS !!!

  • @16bigred There is a Canadian playing for the Sydney Swans. Mike Pyke.

Geez mate, I don't know. Americans are one thing, but Canadians? That's askin' a bit much!

    ey?

    :-)

  • Go Shae! Im Canadian and love footy, but itll be fantastic to see someone from North America get to the AFL. PAve the way and ill come after you bud. Good Luck!

  • his kicking needs work (from other vids ive seen), you cant teach guys like this to kick like a buckley, they have to be fast tracked, im not really sure how to do it though.

  • as an aussie living in america and appreciatn all codes of football and american sports- aussie rules is great cross-over sport for americans who play basketball, soccer, gridiorn and hockey. Footy has all the elements without the timeouts. shae is one of those american athletes, who has basketball, soccer and gridiorn background. Aussie Rules ia skilled sport, as is Rugby League , Gridiron etc. it is good for aussie economy if Americans are in the AFL
