The Red Hollow Cylinder. In it lies the soul of an evil papercraftsman, who could not find joy in the paper models he made.

Bittered and lonely, with his dying breath he put a curse on the last papercraft he ever made, and then he let it loose on the world. Countless unexpecting papercrafters fell victim to this evil papercraft, until some poor soul put it on the internet...

  • Helpful video, awful song.

  • I'm glad you found the video helpful! (and I agree about the song ;o)

  • holy crap the song sucked.

  • There are better songs, I agree. ;o)

  • what paper do you use?

    please reply.

  • I always use 200 gsm paper for all my models. Nothing fancy (not glossy or anything) just thicker than regular printer paper. ;o)

  • i use 120Ggsm

    regular is 75-80

  • If the glue really soaks in the paper, it will very easily wrinkle because it gets so wet...

The paper " really getting wet" is what you should try to avoid: don't use too much glue!

I always find it best to only apply a small amount of glue on the glueing tab. The glueing tab shouldn't really have a thick layer of glue, but only a thin film.

If the thin film of glue is just "tacky" (almost dry) you can almost instantly press and glue the parts together and the paper shouldn't wrinkle.

  • a VERY helpful tutorial (well, for me anyways) would go into detail about glueing, because i can't ever find a solution, and my paper starts to wrinkle.

    thanks.
