I like your articulate explanation of this. I still think you are skirting around the real problem here though. If a religious practice is hidden/subversive or forced underground and it's ideology so "offensive" to mainstream thought then surely by its own description as occult in this way it is surely a dangerous thing to avoid?

I'm not attacking what you believe in, just saying that occult practice has more dangerous connotations than you are trying to very eloquently deliver here.

I wasn't deliberately trying to skirt nefarious secrecy, or the inherent danger of unraveling one's mind, or deny the negative potential for both - I was trying to illustrate that simply because one has never been exposed to a line of discipline, or a methodology, does not mean it is being hidden deliberately to be used against you.

I wouldn't blame a mathematician for my lack of understanding of his science if I, myself, have never tried.  That is the enigma in mainstream religious quarrel with things "Occult"

Well said. I like your line of argument. As I said I redirect your views and find some of the stuff you sell fascinating. I like the comparison with "illegal science" as occult (Copernicus nearly burned for his views I'd the cosmos) I'm sure a lot of what CERN scientists are doing us views by fringe religious groups as portentous and dangerous. I'm just being devils advocate mate. Thanks for replying.
