Analog processor for removing audible noise from scratches and wear of analog records, 33, 45 and 78 RPM.

This analog device from the early 1980's was (amongst others) used by radiostations in the USA to clean up their output to transmission lines and reduce the transient noise peaks that freak out limiters and compressors.

Combine this unit with the DNF 1201A Dynamic Noise Reduction from Burwen Research and your old records will sound better than your IPOD....

The sound is so good that it exceeds the level of processing quality of software like Sonic Solutions and Izotope.

Analog, and realtime with MINIMAL phase problems.

My small company uses these babies to clean up 78RPM and other worn vinyl records making them sound beautiful.

  • Exactly, today's SMD components sound crap and last only a few years.

That's why all the vintage studio stuff is exploding in price!

Today's electronics are mostly throw away electronics, made in China... worth nothing.

  • I've been searching for years to find one.....

Ran into 3 of these machines on Ebay recently and bought them all.

One for the home HIFI and two for the company.

There is a lot of people out there that need their old recordings fixed....
