Diszgráfia:

Jelentése írászavar. Ennek megfelelően - hasonlóan a dyslexiához - óvodás korú gyerekeknél, akik nem tudnak még írni, itt is legfeljebb csak veszélyeztetettségről beszélhetünk.

A dysgraphiának is két megjelenési formája lehet:

Formai dysgraphia:
Ha az írás technikai része nehéz, a finommozgások vagy a szem-kéz koordináció pontatlansága miatt. Ilyenkor az írás külalakja csúnya, a betűk kilóghatnak a sorokból, rendezetlen az íráskép.

Tartalmi dysgraphia:
Ha az írás külalakja elfogadható, de nagyon gyenge a helyesírás és nem tudja írásban kifejezni a saját gondolatait. Előfordulhat, hogy a gyermek esetleg szépen és hibátlanul másol, de tollbamondás után nagyon sok hibát ejt.

A dysgraphia esetében sem feltétlenül jelenik meg az összes tünet minden esetben és itt is előfordulhat, hogy mindkét fajtája egyszerre jelenik meg egy gyerek esetében. Ilyenkor megesik, hogy teljes írásképtelenséget okoz.

Dysgraphia:

Dysgraphia (or agraphia) is a deficiency in the ability to write, regardless of the ability to read, not due to intellectual impairment. People with dysgraphia often can write on some level, but often lack co-ordination, and may find other fine motor tasks such as tying shoes difficult. It often does not affect all fine motor skills. They can also lack basic spelling skills (having difficulties with p,q,b,d), and often will write the wrong word when trying to formulate thoughts (on paper). In childhood, the disorder generally emerges when they are first introduced to writing. They make inappropriately sized and spaced letters, or write wrong or misspelled words despite thorough instruction. Children with the disorder may have other learning disabilities; however, they usually have no social or other academic problems. Cases of dysgraphia in adults generally occur after some neurological trauma or it might be diagnosed in a person with Tourette syndrome, ADHD or an autism spectrum disorder such as Asperger's. The DSM IV identifies dysgraphia as a "Disorder of Written Expression" as "writing skills (that) ...are substantially below those expected given the person's ...age, measured intelligence, and age-appropriate education."

Thank You. As a future math teacher, I am interested in learning more about how to detect this learning disability in my struggling students. I understand that it is often misdiagnosed.

oops I think I have this too, i am right handed and left eyed Im completely mixed up sometimes i feel akward I don't know when to use my left of right hand/foot.. i feel a lot clumsy also my handwriting is poor but when I focus more it is normal.
