@speakwhnspkn2 thats awful, how some people can hate or judge someone on the colour of their skin is just beyond me. People are people. It's like hating someone for having different colour hair or eyes to you.

sad

@jdbgood1 @jdbgood1 What's even sadder is that more than fifty years later, we still have this type of thing going on in America. Just the other week in Newberry, SC , we had a 30 year old black man shot, tied to a truck and dragged more than ten miles. Yet they are hesitant to call it a hate crime. This IS South Carolina though. So that's not surprising.

@speakwhnspkn2 really? I didn't know that kind of evil still went on in the States, is that linked to the klan? Or just some souless scumbag? I'm English so wouldn't really know, is the deep south still full of racism? Thanks.

@skint0n0minted It's not an everyday occurrence, but it happens often enough. It's actually a little worse since the election of Obama. It's like a lot of these white folks think that blacks have REALLY gone too far this time, as if we were the only ones that voted for him. Many also assume, wrongly I might add, that EVERY black person voted for him. I did, but not because he was black but because I thought he was the best candidate out of the two, not by much though.

The morons who beat him to death never paid for it. I think the woman who accused him of whistling at her is still alive. I hope there isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't think about him.

@64098 They may have escaped human justice, but they still have to face their maker and give an account for what they did.
