  • What hair products do you use normaly ???

  • @smnbaybee sorry i am so late. i don't really have a consistent product that i use at this time. but the one connecting factor is usually olive oil or carrot oil. plus i avoid most products with mineral oil and pertroleum.

  • I love the Garnier conditioner, but i would never use the shampoos

  • hey hunnie. i bought this deep conditioner a week ago and omg i love it!!!! maybe you should try leaving it in longer with heat. id say 30-40mins will do the trick. since us woman of color need more time for the conditioner to set into our hair i do recommend leaving it in like i said for 30-45mins WITH heat. the heat helps allot

oh i dont know i used to think the same way as you and still do in some ways - i generally think it depends on the texture of the black persons hair- often the ingredients are not strong enough for a black persons hair- but then there are black people whose hair benefits very well using garnier or other such like products- garnet states that it is for all types of hair and black people fit in that cateogry is well, but its alll goood lol

  • @onlinebabeful lol I know, that is why I added the annotation (about black people using garnier). The Michelle thing makes me laugh cause my dentist said something about it the other day. I think it is the hair and the way my jaw/teeth are set (we both have a more prominent jaw according to him and a couple of other people).

Overall though, I don't think a lot of garnier products are meant for black people's hair (though some do very well). But o well lol
