The Albion ferries are a vital link in Greater Vancouver's major road network. within 5 years, this ferry link will be replaced by a new bridge.

  • I think a bridge is long overdue. That thing is an antique.

  • And is on the way. Construction starts soon on the Golden Ears Bridge just a little farther west and into Pitt Meadows, by Translink, the region's Transit and Major Road Network authority. The bridge should be complete sometime before the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.

  • I like the ferry..gives an old look to transportation...since the ferry is free and the bridge toll is $2.80.
