  • She's a race car driver. That's all that need be said.

More cajones than any of you will ever have.

  • First of all, Danica DOES have talent. She may not be the top driver out there or anything, but so far this year she has out-pointed all but four (Penske and Ganassi) drivers in the IRL. I think her attitude has improved this year and the results are showing on the track. (My opinion of course)

That said, Katherine DOES have a few Atlantic wins, including her very first start. She needs a chance in an Indy car... Sarah has talent, but needs more backing...

    Milka is just...scary...

  • @international153 Thank the safety precautions in motorsport. Thank the improvements that have been made to motorsport, not god.

  • It's interesting Katherine is mentioning bruises on her knees. When Frentzen had his historic crash in Canada in 99 they modified the tub so the driver's knees were protected

  • I watched it live from Russia. I felt like OMG she died. The only thing i could say was "Another tragedy in motorsport. Safety improvements must be better" (in Russian) then when i saw her OK i said "THANKS GOD!" GOD IS OUR SAVIOR!

  • @MrIrishlogic: I saw it...

  • @MrIrishlogic: I'd like to see you trying!!! With NO FREAKING REAR WING!!! Even Will Power would have crashed!!!

  • @BSNFabricating: About Will Power now... Unless he has incidents with Helio (Edmonton last year, Long Beach this year), he rarely loses on a road course!!! It's kinda SCARY!!! Before he wins the title, he has to prove to me that he can win on an oval (I don't think he has EVER won an oval race)... Because Franchitti is good at BOTH (so is Helio, Dixon, Briscoe and Marco)!

  • @BSNFabricating: About Ana now... If she can get some guidance, she can get REALLY far!!! Don't forget that she (unlike DP) has won in the US (Danica won in Japan). But she needs a stronger car, a good mentor and some luck. And yes, missing the Barber race with a broken wrist is NOT gonna help her...

Sarah Fisher is more like Simona: very popular with other IndyCar people, but never got the chance to show what she's made of.

Same with Katherine, I hope she races at Indianapolis...

  • @BSNFabricating: Simona will get her win, I guarantee you!!! Especially if she goes to a stronger team (not that HVM is bad, but maybe a team-mate would help). She also has a better character than Danica (I believe). I mean DP is really aggressive and sometimes she puts the blame on others (like this year with Truex at Bristol, she got into him)... But I still like her a lot.

Simona is really straightforward and kind... She's more of a likeable person.

  • @PhilipTheBigOne

That's true... If I remember right, my previous comment was posted before Simona came to the IndyCar Series, when DP was on her way to 5th in points (2009). Having a teammate would help...and so would being able to stay away from EJ Viso on the track. She had a GREAT run at St Pete, and I think she will win a race pretty soon if she can avoid trouble, and beat Will Power. Ana finally seems to have some backing, she just needs some luck. Injuring her wrist didn't help things.

  • @BSNFabricating: I agree about Danica, but I think that Simona Di Silvestro is the most talented female driver in IndyCar (4th place at St. Pete is NOT easy, even though Briscoe, Andretti, Helio and Dixon crashed)... I also like Sarah, Katherine (she was talking about coming to IndyCar) and Ana Beatriz (2 wins in the Indy Lights).
