Jeff Vogel's latest old school RPG was released for Windows today, after having been available for Mac OS X since March of this year. A 40 hour epic roleplaying experience with turn-based combat and a huge game world to explore is definitely worth the meager asking price of $25, and if you want to try before you buy there's a sizeable demo available at;

@ruchittenme I take it you didn't like Planescape: Torment and BG that much huh? It depends on the game, Planescape for example probably has one of the best game worlds and story i've ever seen in a RPG, can you imagine how shallow it would've been without all the reading?

I agree to each his own but most RPGs tend to have a lot of reading as that builds the world and plot. Action RPG games tend to be more for the ADD crowd. I don't mean that as an insult just saying with Action RPGs you may find more of what you are looking for...action over story. I can suggest some great action orientated RPG games! Just message me.

@Epyx911 No thanks Diablo has to be the easiest game ever, a 2 year old could defeat that game blindfolded. I prefer to mod Never Winter Nights and drop the Read Read Read Read Read out of the game and just get to the point, and your on your way.
Nothing more annoying then Reading a 14 page novel to be directed to go to another NPC to read another Novel and after 20 mins of reading worthless dialouge you fight a group of whimpy monsters, and just repeat the process. To each his own though.

@ruchittenme
You *should* be reading, it's an RPG. If you don't want to read play an action RPG like Diablo etc.

They should name the game READADON. Thats all you do in most RPG's is read read read read...give me a break if I wanted to read a novel I would grab a book not TRY to play a game.

Uh, that ambient noise that plays occasionally is really fucking freaky. Sounds like audio footage from the Overlook Hotel or some shit.

Looks nice. I think I'll try the demo and give it a go if the narration is good.
