Mashallah, there is so much in Islam that I have to learn, may Allah show me the right path and guide me in Islam. My dream is hat after I'm finished with my education (this year), travel to a Muslim country and Learn about my religion!
Inshallah this dream of my will come in true soon.

Asalamualaikum Warahmatullah
I think that we are missing the real intention for Green Lane Masjid in this debate and that is to show that we can disagree in a respectful and civil manner. Especially at a time when our young brothers are sisters have a Black and White mentality seeing things as MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY, I agree that the issue is a very crucial issue, but disagreeing on it does not mean we make it a point of Walaa and Baraa between ourselves.

Subhanallah. Very good lecture

Sheikh Assim's arguments were excellent. For me it was one sided. I have to admit although I am a big fan of Dr. Bilal.

yano what i dont knw who to believe :S lool
Alhamdulilah great debate very professional :)
wallah i Love both of these Shiekhs for the sake of Allah
However, Aassim Al Hakeem does have a lot of evidence and i mean a lot :)
May Allah reward them
Ameen :)
Bothom line...Both sides presented strong arguments. Both would agree that salah is FARDH 5 times a day EVERYDAY (with exceptions. i.e. women on menses, post pregnancy bleeding, etc). Plz DO NOT take this video as if it was ok to pray sometimes and not other times! What we should learn from this is that we MUST PRAY! Whether not praying sometimes make u a kafir or not (for those moments), fact is that it could still take u to the fire even if u were 2 come out later! DO U WANT JAHANAM!? NO!
